What Is a Resin Trophy
Made using resin (often a synthetic polyester, epoxy, or polyurethane resin) that is poured into moulds and then hardened.
Allows fine detailing and complex shapes (figures, logos, themed sculptures).
Can be painted, plated (e.g. gold/silver finish), or even embedded with other items.
Usually mounted on a base (wood, acrylic, metal) with a nameplate or engraving.
 
How They Are Made & Customised
Design / Sculpture – either digitally modelled, or hand sculpted / 3D printed.
Mould Making – a mould is made from the original, often silicone or other flexible mould material.
Casting – resin is poured, possibly in layers. Additives (colour pigment, metallic powder, fillers) can be mixed in.
Curing – allowed to harden. This may take hours to days depending on resin type.
Finishing – sanding, polishing, painting, metallic spray or plating, clear coat or varnish.
Base / Engraving – base attached; engraving or plates added with text, logos etc
