Acrylic Leaf Trophy
Presented here as the Cisco Collaboration Star Award 2024 awarded to Infosys, Gurugram, India, this trophy is fabricated from optical-grade virgin acrylic (PMMA) in a sculpted leaf form — making it one of the more distinctive shapes in our award range. Unlike conventional geometric trophies, the Leaf Trophy carries an immediate visual identity: organic, growth-oriented, and memorable.
Form and Design
The trophy is shaped as a stylised botanical leaf cluster, with multiple individual leaf forms rising from a solid base. Each leaf is defined by a raised, sculpted surface with engraved vein detailing running along its length — giving the piece a three-dimensional, layered quality that reads as both elegant and crafted. The silhouette is immediately recognisable from a distance, making it particularly effective as a display piece in office lobbies, reception areas, and award cabinets.
The overall form is wide at the top and anchored by a flat, stable base at the bottom, with the engraving panel positioned centrally on the lower body of the trophy — clean, flat, and clearly legible in the upright display position.
Material
Fabricated from optical-grade virgin PMMA with 92%+ light transmittance, the acrylic body is fully transparent with a soft, frosted surface treatment applied to the sculpted leaf areas. This frosted finish is not a coating — it is achieved through a controlled surface texturing process during fabrication, which diffuses light across the leaf forms and gives the trophy its distinctive matte-silver appearance against the clear base. The contrast between the frosted sculpted areas and the polished clear sections gives the piece visual depth and a premium, two-tone aesthetic without the use of paint, film, or applied colour.
Engraving
The engraving panel is laser-etched directly into the clear acrylic base section using CO2 laser technology, producing a permanent frosted white impression. The flat engraving area accommodates a company logo, award name, year, recipient name, and location — all rendered with fine-detail precision and long-term permanence.
Durability
Impact-resistant, UV-stabilised, and lightweight — the Leaf Trophy is safe for courier shipping and long-term display without risk of shattering or yellowing over time.
